Updates

Not much news with me, that’s why there hasn’t been a post for a while. I’ve been busy with schoolwork and other stuff. I haven’t heard any more news from law schools, but three of the six law schools I applied to haven’t accepted anyone yet. Of the three that started their acceptance process, two sent out only a handful of applications and the third one is my beloved UofT.

This blog also got attacked recently. Some posts now have over 1,000 comments, most of them nonsensical (such as casino451346457). Some are just spam. Please ignore until I find a way to get rid of them. I may just pull all comments, I’ll have to think about it (or remember some of my programming skills and get rid of them selectively at the database level). I updated the blogging software and strengthened spam security, so it shouldn’t happen again.

<EDIT>: I did in fact delete comments at the database level and kept the ones that were posted by humans. It really helps that the nearly 3,000 spam comments came from a total of 5 IP’s. Needless to say, those IPs are now banned.</EDIT>

Also, I’m being noticed in the bLAWgosphere, which is interesting. If you have your own bLAWg or know something ahout law/law school, please don’t hesiste to comment.
